    Just to clarify, the elder brother of Henry VIII, Arthur, was, of course, never crowned and therefore never reigned as king. In the words of Leonard Cohen (and as quoted recently by a good friend of mine): ‘There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in’ (Anthem).
